SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITIES

Table Tennis for Life is a project by the Making a Difference Foundation
Getting older shouldn’t mean getting lonely or inactive. Without accessible and affordable activities this is exactly what many older Australians face.

Our active ageing program maximises the benefits of table tennis for older people. It is designed to boost wellbeing and mental health whilst breaking down social isolation.

SUPER ACTIVITY for the ELDERLY

We utilise “Table Tennis” as a beneficial therapy program to create an appropriate level of exercise that includes fun and social interaction.

Why table tennis? Because research shows Table tennis has unparalleled potential to be helpful for older people with both general health and delaying the onset and diminishing the effects of illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s because it combines physical activity with spatial skills, cognitive awareness and keeping social.
